CST Bodyweight Workout – How to beat fat “inch by inch”

We’re back with another episode of Bodyweight TV.  This time we’re featuring another full workout that you can do anytime and in any open space.  If you are an experienced fitness enthusiast, this innovative arrangement of Circular Strength Training® bodyweight exercises is just what you need to break out of humdrum exercise routine and have some fun in the great outdoors.

I put this video together right after a session with one of my advanced CST groups.  It was such a big hit, that I had to share it with you.  Please give it a whirl and let us know in the comments how it goes.

The whole workout can be done in about 20 minutes, including warm-up and cool-down.  And it is a great fat burner.  It works your entire body in concerted effort and creates a “metabolic disturbance” that will keep you burning fat for hours, even after you stop exercising.

The components are the CST Inchworm (which you’ll discover in the video), the CST Quad Squat and the CST Trinity Jump Squat (which you’ll find in this Bodyweight TV episode).  So take a walk on the wild side and give this a try.  If you don’t want to disrupt your other training, add this in as your cardio instead of that boring treadmill…

And don’t forget, let us know how it went.

Enjoy!

That looks fun (in sadistic meaning). I’ll let my body one more day rest with InfuFlow and Prasara before try this one…

Looks like fun, Adam. Although, I hear that all CST Coaches have a distorted view of pleasure vs. pain… :)

Hi Adam:

My kid class say they hate you and they just did four minutes. LOL

The adults are getting used to me bringing in bodyweight exercises.

However I made a slight miscalculation.

At about an hour and a half into the class I remembered I wanted to do the inch worm.

We had pounded the heck out of each other and fought hard and were exhausted and dripping with sweat.

Decided to give it a go anyway and try just five minutes.

Okay maybe just a little more in the starting tank would be best.

One wickedly cool drill.

It ROCKS.

Well done Adam.

We will do it again. I loved it – you know in that masochistic way we seem to have.

Busy at work – I had to sleep over night before give this try. I woke up early (as usual) – my body felt tired… No excuseses: after class of water out in the garden and move on:
I don’t get it: after 3rd round my legs were “burning” and quat jumps felt more like “jelly jumps” – I knew this will “kill me”. I thought I was in shape? 5th round I began to find “flow” – inch worm felt greit, quad squat found rhythm, quat jumps…stil hurting…
I’m more and more eager to see the watch – how many minutes is still left…I had to go back slower and slower at the start point with every round…
Finally 15 minutes is gone! And 10 rounds… I managed it!!
Some compensating movements – shower – breakfast – Perfect start to busy and sunny day: I FEEL GO…OOD!

Thanks Adam

Rick & Henri – OK, so now I know that my group wasn’t fibbing when they said that was a tough session… ;)

It sure is Adam. Be Proud!

I did not have a lot of time to train tonight so I did a quick dynamic Intu-Flow some mini-clubbells to loosen up some more and six reps of the inch worm. Cranks up a short workout.
